Wow! Something major has gone wrong there! I’ve never seen anything like that before.

It could possibly be a bad import of the demo content. Or it could possibly, more likely, be an incomplete or corrupted installation of the theme. If you have additional plugins activated other than those that come with the theme, it could even possibly be caused by a plugin conflict.

I recommend you begin again. Use a plugin such as WordPress Reset (https://wordpress.org/plugins/wordpress-reset/) to purge the demo content from your database. Then delete the Moxie theme and reinstall it.

I recommend that you download the latest version of the Moxie theme again from ThemeForest (the “Installable WordPress file only” option). It is important that you download the theme again from ThemeForest because it has been known for zip files to become corrupted in transmission.

Then make sure that all plugins are deactivated (important!) and install Moxie again via WordPress: Appearance > Themes > Add New > Upload Theme.

Let me know how you get on.

ok … so reinstalled everything from scratch …

no errors with importing the demo data but I still see some issues:

    1. none of the icons in the Uber Menu load, nor do the “Responsive” icons in the footer (the large ones on the home page do work)
    2. Menus look like this:

    FEATURES

    BLOG

    PORTFOLIO

    CONTACT

    any ideas?

    thx

ok … so it seems that Uber Menu did indeed not import most of the settings … which makes it really difficult to learn how y’all managed to set things up…

    [UPDATE]

so I have figured out most of the stuff, but how does one set up the following?

    Features Menu
I can either get it to look like this:
    http://www.wa98104.us/moxie/features_menu.png

    or this:
    http://www.wa98104.us/moxie/features_menu_2.png

but I cannot figure out how to make the left column links black and bold

    Portfolio Menu:
how does one make the right column items bold and lined up in that column?

    this is what I see:

This is the easy way to make any menu item black and bold…

In Appearance > Menus click the Screen Options tab at top right and make sure the CSS Classes and Description options are enabled…

Now open a menu item you want to be black and bold and add the ubermenu-item-header class to its CSS Classes input box…

In your screenshot it looks like there might not be enough width in the submenu to fit the three columns. You may need to experiment with the submenu width or other settings in the Submenu section for the Portfolio menu item…

Or maybe you need to make the video, audio and gallery item details menu items sub-items of the Photo Item Details menu? If you’ve not done that, that could be why they are not listed one under the other…
