Removing default page. Make home page landing page

  Looking at my site deolaadetunji.com, when you type in the url it takes
  you to a default page with content. When you now click on home link or
  community link it takes you to another layout with 2 columns.
  Here is what I will like to achieve

  1. when I type in my url deolaadetunji.com, I want it to go directly
  to the home page.
  2. When I click on Home link it should keep me on the home page
  3. When I click on community link it should take me to the community page

  Looks like 2 and 3 is happening now but 1 is not.

  How can I achieve item 1 ?

  To set your home page go to Settings > Reading, set the Front page displays option to “A static page” and then set the Front page drop-down menu to reference the article you want to display on your front page.

  This is not a theme issue, this is standard WordPress functionality.
