    Hello,

Our blog is returning a 404 for all pages after the first page.

Any idea what I can do to fix?

That sounds like you haven’t set up the theme properly.

In Settings > Reading you must set the Front page displays option to “Your latest posts” and then you control the layout and content of your home (front) page via the layout manager.

This video shows you how to use the layout manager → http://para.llel.us/video/salutation-layout-manager

There are more video tutorials for Salutation here → http://para.llel.us/support/videos/ Scroll down the page, they are under the “Salutation” heading.

If there is anything else about the Salutation theme itself you need help with, please just let us know. If you can’t find a solution using the forum search please create a new topic for each separate issue and we’ll do our best to help.

    Hello Jeff,

After updating the theme and following all instructions, including for setting reading settings as “Your latest posts” and adding the shortcode, I am still getting a 404 for all pages after page 1 of the blog.

What else can I do to ensure the pagination is working?

    Any help is muchly appreciated!

    Thanks!

I noticed that for pages that are using a specific category the pagination is working. But when there are multiple categories present the pagination doesn’t work.

So weird thing is… I renamed the blog page to “blog2″ and now the pagination works. I don’t understand why the page name “blog” creates broken pagination but a fix is a fix so I’ll take it. Even if I have to have “2″ hanging off the back of “blog”.

I don’t understand either, what you describe is not normal behaviour, but if you can post a link to a live web page that displays the issue I’ll be glad to take a look.
