When switching from Text tab to Visual tab <p> and <br> tags are stripped

  Hi,

  When switching between Visual and Text Editor the <p> and <br> tags are stripped off. I downloaded Tiny MCE Advanced plug-in but it didn’t solve the problem. Is this a general WordPress issue, or the theme? Also any suggestions on fixing it?

  It’s a general WordPress issue. When you switch from the Text tab to the Visual tab the TinyMCE editor rewrites your HTML.
