How to prevent main menu page from displaying

    Hello
On the website http://www.mehsa.org, some of the menu on the menu bar has submenu items. Unfortunately, a couple of my friends will click the main menu item directly instead of clicking the submenu items that are associated with it. Naturally, it displays a blank page.
For example, under the menu “Gallery” with a menu item “Mrs. Logie”, there are two two submenus – Mrs. Logie’s photos and Mrs. Logie’s letter. Instead of clicking these submenu items, they will click Mrs. Logie which displays a blank page.
How can I make some main menu items unclickable or prevent them from displaying a page?
    Thanks,
    Myo

This is not a theme issue, the WordPress menu system is 100% controlled and driven by WordPress.

All the Salutation theme does is style the menu, i.e. it makes it look the way it looks.

To create a menu item that does not link to another page when it is clicked you need to make a Custom Link item and set the URL to # (i.e. the current page).

If you need help building WordPress menus please refer to the official documentation…

         WordPress Menu User Guidehttps://codex.wordpress.org/WordPress_Menu_User_Guide

If you need to learn how to use WordPress then I can recommend the WordPress Lessons, they are a fantastic resource…

         WordPress Lessonshttp://codex.wordpress.org/WordPress_Lessons

If you can’t get on with the lessons and you need more help then you can ask questions in the appropriate WordPress support forum…

         WordPress Supporthttp://wordpress.org/support/

If there is anything about the Salutation theme itself you need help with, please just let us know. If you can’t find a solution using the forum search please create a new topic for each separate issue and we’ll do our best to help. Thanks.

I answered your question in my previous post. The sentence that begins “To create a menu item that does not link to another page…”.
