Issues with editing pages

You are using an old version of the theme (v3.0.19).

Please update to the latest version of the theme (currently v3.0.21). → http://para.llel.us/support/groups/salutation-wordpress/forum/topic/latest-version-salutation/

Note that Salutation doesn’t work well with the new block editor in WordPress v5, you’ll need to use the Classic Editor plugin for creating and editing articles. → https://wordpress.org/plugins/classic-editor/

If you still have this issue after updating the theme and activating the Classic Editor plugin let us know and we will work from there.

    Thanks.

Thank you Jeff for the quick reply. I will let you know some time next week if that worked.

A bigger issue is with editing this page: https://www.dds-foundation.org/block1/. I would get this error: The site is experiencing technical difficulties. Please check your site admin email inbox for instructions.

When debugging is turned on, we got this error:

Fatal error: Call to undefined function make_theme_blog_page() in
    /home/httpd/htdocs/dds/wp-content/themes/parallelus-salutation/framework/theme-functions/shortcodes.php
    on line 1040

Have you installed and activated the Classic Editor plugin?

I would expect to see both of the errors you have reported unless the Classic Editor plugin is installed and activated.

After installing and activating the Classic Editor plugin go to Settings > Writing to make sure the settings are set so that the Block Editor is completely disabled. Like this…

If you have the Classic Editor installed and activated, and its settings set correctly, and you are still seeing these errors, let me know and we’ll work from there.

    Thanks.
