How do you remove the buttons on the front page?

    If you mean the buttons either side of the showcase, you can hide those with some CSS…

    .featuredScroll { display: none }

    Add that CSS to the foot of the skin’s stylesheet, or to your custom stylesheet.

    If you mean something else, please explain in more detail because your screenshot doesn’t make it clear.

    If you use Internet Explorer, Chrome, Firefox, Safari or Opera you can use the browser’s built-in developer tools to point at and “inspect” elements on a web page to find out what styles they use. You can even tweak the styles live to experiment with any changes you might fancy.
