Change the color for the upper background of the main page

  How can I/Where do I go to change the background of the upper section of the pages as seen in this graphic:

  Right now it is light grey and I want it to be dark as you can see on the borders of the screen in the graphic.

  Beats me, the Unite theme isn’t putting that area of light grey there. Have you modified any theme files?

  No, Ijust updated to the newest version. I just really need to know what that section is called so I can search through the code to fix it myself. A term such as “header background” or “upper area.”
