Remove post date in the ribbon area

  Hello

  I want to remove the post date from the ribbon area as well as the blog image. Please see this post:

  I want the custom ribbon text to be the first thing you see…and not the date which is meaningless. Can this be done in a post?

  You can disable placeholder images for posts without images attached by going to Unite > General Options and disabling the Placeholder Images option in the Miscellaneous box.

  There are no theme options that will enable you to remove the ribbon that contains the post meta information. To do that you’d need to customise the ‘single.php’ template to remove the ribbon element from the template.
