Hi Kribbo, I’m possibly not understanding the question. Are you wanting to not show the image, title, read more link, etc? I might need a bit more information to answer your question.
If you haven’t already checked out the options in the “Settings > Blog Options” area of the theme, that’s the place to start for setting your default blog configuration options. It lets you assign the default template, attributes and some styling of the blog.
Another suggestion is to create your blog using a shortcode in the Visual Composer editor rather than the page template option. This will give you a lot more control and is often easier and faster to do. Just activate the Visual Composer editor for the page and insert a “Post List” element into the page. It will have all the options including excerpt length, template, read more buttons and such directly in the editor.
