[vc_row] and [vc_column] shortcodes displaying after update

  Hello again,

  I updated the theme with the packaged visual composer plugin, and the pages now display the VC shortcodes on the front-end. Is there a way to strip these out without rebuilding each page?

  In your admin sidebar select WPBakery Page Builder > Shortcode Mapper. On that page, do you see any shortcodes mapped?

  There are not any shortcodes mapped in that section.

  The only time we’ve seen this issue before, the [vc_row] shortcode was mapped in the Shortcode Mapper settings and the problem was fixed by deleting those shortcode mappings. → http://para.llel.us/support/groups/vellum/forum/topic/visual-composer-not-working-5/?topic_page=2&num=15#post-90087

  I really don’t know why you have this problem. I think the fastest solution for you will be to rebuild the pages. It’s only 6 pages, isn’t it?

  That’s correct, but we also use the theme on another site that is 70+ pages. I would hate to rebuild all of those.

  I’m sorry, I really don’t know why you have this problem.

  Try reinstalling the WPBakery Page Builder plugin. (Deactivate it and delete it, then the theme will prompt you to install it again.)
