Trying to get separators in Ultimate Addons for Visual Composer working

  Hello Support,

  I try to get the Separators from Ultimate Addons for Visual Composer working.

  Plugin:

  On my Testside it is the white row between the image and the green background:

  I already found this quick solution:

  but it’s not really satifying not to use these features as parallax background and so on when you want to create amazing designs.

  Do you may have another workaround to make it compatible for the vc_row.php?

  As the Visual Composer is pre-installed with the moxie theme I thought I could use all the functions and addons. If I knew that it’s not possible I had choosen another theme.

  Do you know if the vellum theme has the same issue?

  The full width row backgrounds features of the Moxie theme and the Ultimate Addons plugins conflict. I’ve never used that plugin but I am told that it now includes an option to disable its row backgrounds feature so that it doesn’t conflict with the theme’s row backgrounds feature.

  The only way to disable the theme’s row backgrounds feature is to delete the ‘templates/vc_templates/vc_row.php’ file.

  The Vellum theme also has an inbuilt full width row backgrounds feature and so it, too, will conflict with the row backgrounds feature in the Ultimate Addons for Visual Composer plugin.

  On your example page @ http://neo-vida.de.w01303a0.kasserver.com/ the white space between the black area under the image and the green background is caused by the default 35px bottom margin of the row in that content which has the black background. Open that row’s settings and set the bottom margin to 0 (zero).

  disable the row background feature from Ultimate Addons didn’t work. Deleting the vc_row.php and there is no awesome Design possible

  I also started a support request by the plugin author. He asked me for this solution:

  Is it possible to get a unmodified version of VC or add “vc_shortcode_output” filter from VC 4.4+?

  The Visual Composer plugin supplied with Moxie is the exact same plugin that you would get if you purchased a license for it.

  I won’t be spending any more time on this issue because I have now told you how to resolve the issue three times. If you choose to ignore my advice that is your problem.

  I understand that, but that’s not the problem. The Ultimate Addons row separator is not working with the VC which is integrated in your theme.

  As I bought the theme I expected the VC to work normally so that I can use addons. I bought the theme 2 times and now I can’t use it!!!!

  So I have told you how to fix that problem.

  If there is a feature of Ultimate Addons plugin that is incompatible with the theme’s inbuilt full-width backgrounds feature, the only way to remove the conflict will be to remove the theme’s inbuilt full-width backgrounds feature by deleting the ‘templates/vc_templates/vc_row.php’ file.

  As far as I am concerned this topic is resolved, both of your questions have been answered multiple times.
