My site is running slow on Vellum

  Hi,

  My site is running very slow with your Vellum theme. At first I thought it was my hosting and went through all the steps with them. Upgraded PHP, streamlined caching etc.

  The issue I am having is the I/O usage is being maxed out. the total available is 1024 kb.

  The last thing we tried was switching out the theme to a generic wordpress theme and the problem was fixed. I uninstalled Vellum and reinstalled the updated version and I am having the problem again.

  Please help, I really like the theme it’s just slow for some reason.

  Your comment about I/O usage rings a bell and I’m going to guess that you are hosted by GoDaddy?

  Thanks jeffw! Fixed!

  It was exactly this. The zip php needed to be turned on in the go daddy c panel.

  For the record I hate go daddy, but had to use it for my client.
